Organized in 1995 as a quartet, Latter Rain then became a trio and now travels as the duet ministry featuring husband and wife, Russ and Louise McMillion. Their music will bless you through a unique blend of southern and country gospel singing. Latter Rain not only sings, but conducts revivals in the old fashioned “camp meeting” style preaching that brings deliverance to the captive. Latter Rain has shared the stage with The Wilburns, The Toney Brothers, Laverne and Edith Tripp, Terry Lynn, The Damphouses, as well as opening for Donnie Swaggart. Latter Rain will bring dedication and anointing to your church services or other functions. The group simply asks for a love-offering and the opportunity to sell their tapes and CDs.
Louise McMillion
Louise makes no hesitation to thank her Lord for everything that has taken place in her life. Coming from a very poor family in Kenton, Ohio, Louise was told from a very young age that she'd never amount to anything. As a child she would play her guitar and sing every hymn that she knew. Growing up, she moved to California and later on accepted Jesus as Lord and Savior. Through Christ, Louise came to understand that she is special and that He would use her just as she was! Louise returned to Ohio in 1989 and was asked to join a group. "I was so scared, knowing that this was something that I could never do on my own, and I still believe this to this very day. My only desire is to see souls saved, that's the answer. I truly know that, I'm Something Out Of Nothing."
Russell McMillion
Rev. Russell McMillion fell in love with gospel music at the age of sixteen and decided that he'd like to somehow be involved in singing for the Lord. Russ never dreamed at that time that the Master would also call him to preach. He started singing with The Calvary Men Quartet at 18 years of age and sang with different groups for many years until forming Latter Rain in 1995. Russ and his wife Louise are very active as evangelists, singing and preaching the good news of the gospel, doing revivals, concerts and most of all specializing in deliverance ministry. Rev. McMillion has a five fold ministry, accompanied by the gifts of the spirit. His is a ministry directed at those whom nobody wants.......the castaways of society and through the love of Christ he and his wife lead them from the depths of sin and degradation to new life in Christ Jesus. Russ says, "Jesus is Lord, and everybody is somebody!"
